Believer, are you personally really and truly saved at All times, or are you on the 'wide road' that prevents you from Heaven due to not doing the Father's Will?
In God's Book called 2nd Timothy 4:8, He says by His representative,
"Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord (Jesus Christ), the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing".
The Lord's 'appearing' is His return to earth to take the enduring Saved (Matt 24:13) to Heaven (1 Thess 4:16-17; 1 Cor 15:51-52).
Though, Believers, will you indeed receive this 'crown of righteousness' from Jesus Christ when He returns to earth at the end of this age? Whether you have passed or are alive at that time?
Well, Unbelievers, do not miss out on this 'crown of righteousness'. Change your mind from unbelief to belief and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, and be Saved (Acts 16:31) - and have your sins forgiven by Him (Col 1:14):
9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in Him (Jesus Christ) will never be put to shame” (Rom 10:9-10; v 11: Isaiah 28:16).
| Believers, do not miss out on this 'crown of righteousness' from Jesus Christ. Ensure that you are enduringly Saved and not unscripturally and deceptively "once-saved always-saved" because ongoing repentance is always required:
"But he who stands firm TO THE END (includes repentance as well) will be saved" (Jesus Christ, Matt 24:13; Mark 13:13: Luke 21:19; Matt 18:3; Luke 13:5).
The reason why God in His Word urges believers to not be on the 'wide-road' of destruction/deception (the road of sin and non-repentance) (Matt 7:13-14), but to ensure that the grace one received at Salvation endures by daily continuing in faith and enduring obedience to God's Will (Matt 7:21; James 4:8):
6 'As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 2 For He says,
“In the time of my favour I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you (Isaiah 49:8)”,
I tell you, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation' (2 Cor 6:2).
2 Corinthians 6:2 is written to believers and implores them to ensure their salvation Daily. Therefore, it is critical that a believer is daily ensuring that the Father's Will (Matt 7:21) is being done by him or her. That is, to actively embrace God's grace and do His Will, and thereby stand firm TO THE END to be Saved (Matt 24:13) - to unfailingly ensure Salvation (2 Cor 6:2; Heb 9:28; 2 Phil 2:12-13), because:
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the Will of My Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers! (Jesus Christ, Matt 7:21-23); 1 Cor 9:24-27.
'I pray that the Lord God grant you unbeliever the Grace to be Saved, and believer and backslider the Grace and power to do and endure in His Will throughout your life for ongoing Salvation, and avoid deception, in the name of Jesus Christ'.
May the Creator God the Father Favour and Bless us all always with His wisdom and revelation, and constant Salvation by His Grace, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Love
